![]() ![]() Great and afordable Fender vintage bass with lots of MoJo for the price, less of an new japanese bass! Incl. Solid alder body (lightweight), shortscale - with medium sized neck which is comfortable to play. Untouched electronics with two pots stamped 304.76.18 (18th week of 1976) and the original Fender "grey-bottom" pickup has and output of 5,82K-ohm. Other than that, the instrument is all original and without any damages, the original fretas are still in great shape. It's in super clean condition for its age. The Musicmaster was Fender’s budget-priced bass at the time, made from surplus parts from other Fender models. As with Fender’s guitar bearing the same name, the bass was a simpler version of Fender’s Mustang Bass. Come with original case, manual and registration cards. Fender’s Musicmaster was first introduced in 1971, and in production through 1981. This came from Reid Shippen's studio here in Nashville (famous mixer / producer) and may have been used on some of his hit records. Fender 1976 Musicmaster For sale is a rare vintage Fender 1876 Musicmaster Olympic White electric guitar. I repainted it, replaced the bridge with a 'modern' one, and installed an AERO pickup on a new pickguard. When I received it, it was painted in black with a lot of dings and marks, a Jazz Bass pickup was installed on a hand made pickguard. Some years, in particular, can get really tricky. Well, after a long time rebuilding my bass, its finaly done. So, if you have a Fender with a neck date of 1964 and the pots are dated 1965, then you have a 1965 Fender bass guitar. Or, at least its most recently dated part. 1976 Fender Musicmaster Bass - Olympic White incl. The general rule of thumb is that a bass guitar is as old as its newest part.
